Outgrid

Privacy policy

Last updated October 20, 2026

Short version: we collect as little as we can, we never sell it, and you can take it with you or delete it at any time.

Who we are

Big Nyash LLC, a limited liability company registered in Natrona County, Wyoming, USA, runs this website and the Outgrid app. For data about our own website visitors and account holders, we are the controller. Privacy questions go to privacy@outgrid.app.

What this website collects

Only what it needs to work: your IP address and browser details in our hosting provider’s logs, kept for a short time to keep the site secure. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in a secure, working website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). No advertising cookies, no third-party trackers.

Your Outgrid account

When you sign up, we store your name, email address, company and sign-in details, and we send you account emails such as confirmations, password resets and alerts. Legal basis: our contract with you (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

Data you send through Outgrid

Your contacts, subscribers and leads, and the emails you send, are your data. For them we act as your processor under a data processing agreement (Art. 28 GDPR), which we sign with every customer before they start sending. We use this data only to deliver your email and show you its results.

Email address checks

Before a new address gets its first email, our verifier asks the recipient’s mail server whether the mailbox exists. No email is sent in this check. It protects recipients and senders from bounced mail, and we do it as part of our work as your processor.

Where your data lives

Every workspace’s data is stored in the EU, in Frankfurt (Germany). Email is sent from Amazon Web Services in Frankfurt, and addresses are checked on our own server in Germany.

Who we share it with

A short list of providers helps us run the service: Amazon Web Services sends your email (Frankfurt), Neon stores the data (Frankfurt), OVHcloud runs our address-check server (Germany), Vercel hosts the website and the app, Cloudflare runs our DNS, and Sentry receives error reports so we can fix problems. Only while Amazon Web Services can’t send, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (Frankfurt) sends transactional email as a backup. Only if a workspace turns on its AI features, the AI provider we use for every workspace reads the text those features need (replies to sort, emails to write, a lead’s details for a first line), under standard contractual clauses. That is Anthropic or OpenAI (USA) or DeepSeek (China); the subprocessor list in our data processing agreement names the one in use. Each of them works under a data processing agreement. We never sell personal data.

Transfers outside the EU

Big Nyash LLC is a US company, and some providers above may process data outside the EU: in the US, or in China if DeepSeek is the AI provider. Where personal data leaves the EU, we protect it with the EU Standard Contractual Clauses (Art. 46 GDPR), both in our agreement with you and in our agreements with these providers.

How long we keep it

Message logs for 30 days by default, contacts until you delete them, and addresses that hard-bounced or complained on your suppression list until you remove them. When you close a workspace, we delete its data within 30 days. Billing records are kept as long as tax law requires.

Security

All connections are encrypted (TLS), stored data is encrypted at rest, every brand’s sending domain is protected with SPF, DKIM and DMARC, and only a small number of people can reach production systems, always with two-step sign-in.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct, delete, restrict or export your data, and you can object to processing based on our legitimate interest (Art. 15–21 GDPR). If you’re a recipient of a customer’s email, we pass your request to that customer and help them answer it. Write to privacy@outgrid.app and we’ll answer within 30 days. You can also complain to your local data protection authority. If we change this policy, we update the date at the top.
